PAX Youth is Mary, Queen of Peace’s opportunity for fun, fellowship, small groups, bible studies, prayer, retreats, service, and more for students in 7th - 12th grade.
We are excited to be launching this new vision and model for our teens in September 2024! As part of PAX Youth teens have the opportunity to attend monthly PAX Nights, weekly small groups, regular retreats, conferences, trips, nights of praise and worship, and more! Every teen is welcome to join us for any of our nights!
PAX Youth is for any 7th -12th Grade student. We offer a variety of experiences for those who are looking to go deeper in their faith and also for those new to all of this! Mary, Queen of Peace is here to walk with any teen that comes through our front door no matter their story.PAX (latin for "peace") Youth is Mary, Queen of Peace's response to walking with the entire person in our young people. For too long we have separated the models of youth ministry and religious education. We want to provide a unique and impactful opportunity for our teens no matter where they are on their journey. As part of PAX Youth we have opportunities for fun, fellowship, and meals as well as opportunities for growth in faith, prayer, and personal relationships with Jesus. Rather than split hairs and divide resources, we set out to create something to meet the needs of the teens in our reach.

NOLA Catholic Youth Conference
This year’s NOLA Catholic Youth Conference, sponsored by the Archdiocese of New Orleans Youth & Young Adult Ministry Office, will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Jesuit High School. Hundreds of teens from parishes and schools across the Archdiocese of New Orleans will gather to celebrate being the young Church, deepen their faith, pray together, and share time with Archbishop Aymond. Will you be in that number? Our 37th Archdiocesan Youth Conference! There will be inspirational speakers, workshops to deepen our faith and learn more about how to live it out in our everyday lives, the celebration of the Mass with Archbishop Gregory Aymond, the sacrament of Reconciliation, a time of Eucharistic Adoration, praise & worship music, prayer opportunities, exhibitors and more.REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6.MQP will take a bus to and from the conference.
