Finance Council
The Finance Council is a group of parishioners appointed by the Pastor who advise him in the financial administration of the parish. The council prepares and oversees the annual parish budget and assists in our efforts to be good and responsible stewards of God’s many gifts. Fleur-De-Fall

Gardening
The Garden Club takes care of the gardens on the church grounds. All volunteers are welcome to help. Help is needed with planting, weeding and mulching. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the ministry leader, Bonnie Blanke, at 845-0667 or barn415@bellsouth.net.

Pastoral Council
The Archdiocese of New Orleans requires every parish to have a committee of parishioners who advise the Pastor. The pastoral council helps to set direction, goals, and policy of the parish while keeping the overall pastoral needs of the parishioners in mind. Nine members make up the council. Stewardship
The primary responsibility of the Stewardship Ministry is to oversee the Stewardship Renewal each year.

Time-Talent-Treasure Program
This program identifies areas of possible contribution to Mary, Queen of Peace and provides parishioners with the opportunity to choose how they wish to participate. The members of this ministry look for opportunities to educate parishioners about stewardship through the example of “stewardship in action” during the Ministry Fair. Ministry members will participate and provide information and material to parishioners, explaining what they do and how they do it. This ministry also attempts to bring the ministry leaders together with the Pastoral Council and the parish staff to discuss plans for the immediate future. Peace Times
The Peace Times newsletter was first published in August 2001. Unlike the parish bulletin, which is distributed at all weekend Masses, the Peace Times is a bimonthly publication and is mailed to all registered parishioners. Public Relations
The public relations committee assists the parish in documenting church events, taking pictures, and handling the publicity in newspapers. If you would like to help in this area, or if you have pictures to submit, please contact the ministry leader, Karen Baker, at 898-4826.
