Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Mary, Queen of Peace Web site. It is my prayer that you will find what you need here, whether you are searching for Mass times, ministry information or an answer to some question about our faith.

It is also my prayer that each one of you feels welcome at Mary, Queen of Peace, no matter your situation in life. Although much attention has been given lately to our beautiful new church, refurbished Parish Center and bustling school, it is good to stop and reflect upon what our parish community is really all about. As Pope John Paul II so eloquently wrote in his Apostolic Exhortation on the Laity:

“The parish is not principally a structure, a territory or a building, but rather ‘the family of God, a fellowship afire with a unifying spirit,’ a ‘familial and welcoming home.’”

I fervently hope Mary, Queen of Peace truly is your welcoming home. I pray you will feel the spirit of Christ that is so alive and abundant here, not only in the buildings but in the people you meet.
