Weekly Construction Update - November 30, 2007

Since the last building update, a huge step has been taken: The building slab has been poured, with the exception of the sanctuary area, which will be poured in the coming week.

Once this is complete, the entire slab will then be allowed to cure and strengthen in preparation for the upcoming steel delivery and erection.

Preparation for the remaining parking area has been ongoing as well. There has been a small delay in this work, but this activity is expected to be complete in the next week. That is if Mother Nature agrees.

Looking into the future, work will turn to less noticeable but nonetheless important items of work such as:

• The sewage lift station

• The roof drain system

• Some fine earthwork as well as general site cleanup so that workers who will soon be erecting the steel have a clean, safe work environment

Stay tuned! The pace of the work is sure to quicken as we move into the New Year, with the main components of the church’s structure arriving in January.
